Since buying the first real estate in 1995, the company has purchased real estate valued over $10 Million Dollars, including apartment buildings, office buildings, condos, houses, luxury homes and a half-way house.
The Walker Law Firm – Walker & Associates, LLP, based in Connecticut and an affiliate firm in Atlanta houses several attorneys and staff members. The Firm has represented a Who’s Who of Urban, Gospel, Pop and R&B music. Servicing 100s of Clients nationwide, the firm handles intellectual property, litigation, entertainment law, sports law, 501c(3) non-profit incorporations, merges and acquisitions, real estate and a multitude of other practice areas.
JW Consulting, LLC – The concert promotion and entertainment arm of the Walker Family Companies, handles concert promotions, event management and special projects. For example, the company has promoted, consulted and managed dozens of events, including The Urban Impact Summit at Foxwoods, concerts featuring Freddie Jackson and Pattie Labelle and Dr. Shirley Caesar among others.
The company also hosted a number of panels and workshops with ASCAP and BMI in New York City, including: “How to Be Down”, “Breaking Into the Music Industry”, “Signing With A Manager: The Do’s and Don’ts” and “How To Get A Record Deal”.
Most recently, the company chaired the World Summit in Milwaukee featuring Bishop T.D. Jakes, Dr. Paula White and Dr. Cindy Trimm. Presently the company is planning a Summit in Atlanta, among other activities.
